More convergence than divergence between European vs. USA lipid guidelines?

In November 2018, the ACC/AHA released new guidelines for cholesterol management. Now, in August 2019, the Joint European Society of Cardiology/European Atherosclerosis Society (ESC/EAS) Task Force has followed with a much-needed update to the 2016 Dyslipidaemia Guidelines.

PCSK9 Forum asked US experts to compare the two sets of guidelines: Is there more convergence than divergence?
